KATHMANDU: Adverse weather affected flights at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Sunday. According to the TIA office, flights towards both domestic and international sectors were disrupted for 15 minutes (from 11:30 am to 11:45 am) due to visibility issues on Sunday.
TIA Spokesperson, Subash Jha, said rain forced them to suspend the flights for 15 minutes.
Now, the flights have resumed.
The weather is generally cloudy in the Kathmandu Valley since Sunday morning. Various parts of the valley has been witnessing light rainfall. The Meteorological Forecasting Division informed that rainfall is taking place in different parts of the country due to the impact of local winds. -- RSS
