May 8: The Nepal stock Exchange (NEPSE) registered a minimal loss of 0.21 points or 0.01, closing at 1960.60 on the fourth trading day of the week on Wednesday.

During today’s trading session, 305 scrips were traded on the NEPSE through 41,137 transactions. A total of 5,874,967 shares changed their hands, resulting into a total turnover of Rs 2.54 billion.

First Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited(FMDBL) led the turnover amount with total transaction of Rs 10 crores. Similarly, Infinity Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited(ILBS) saw the highest gain of 9.99%, closing at a market price of Rs 1407 per share.

Kumari Sabal Yojana(KSY) incurred the maximum loss at 10%, closing at 8.73 per share. In terms of sector indices, all sectors except Finance Index, Hydropower Index, Microfinance Index and Trading Index closed in the negative territory.

Finance Index gained the highest 3.11%, while Manufacturing and Processing saw maximum loss of 1.09%.
