May 1: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the prices of diesel and kerosene. The prices of diesel and kerosene have been each decreased by Rs 2 per liter with effect from Wednesday.
After the price adjustment, the NOC has fixed the price of diesel/kerosene at Rs 156.50 paisa per liter for the areas that fall under the first category, Rs 158 per liter for the second and Rs 159 per liter for the third category.
The first category includes Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhganj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Birgunj while the second category includes Surkhet and Dang while Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal fall under the third category.

As a result, the price of aviation fuel for domestic flights has reached Rs 137 per liter and the price of aviation fuel for international flights has climbed to US$ 1.042 per liter.
The price of petrol and LPG (or cooking gas) remains unchanged, said NOC spokesperson Manoj Thakur. -- RSS
