April 8: Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security Dol Prasad Aryal has said that the government has started providing labour permit within an hour to the workers opting foreign employment.    
In a press conference held here Sunday, Minister Aryal shared that one could now get the labour permit on his mobile phone within an hour after uploading the required documents and details through online technology during office hours.    
According to him, Tahachal-based Foreign Employment Office worked actively to realize the plan of ensuring worker's access to labour permit in a short time. He appreciated honesty and complete support of the employees in this regard.    
The minister, however, informed that the permit delivery could prolong in case of pending document, duplicity or suspicious submission of documents. Computer software has been upgraded for the new scheme, he added. -- RSS
