March 29: The price of gold reached an all-time high of Rs 130,000 per tola (11.66 grams) on Friday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of gold increased by Rs 2,100 on Friday compared to the previous day.

On Thursday, gold was traded at Rs 127,900 per tola.

The price of gold has been rising steadily in the past few weeks. The federation fixes the price of gold and silver based on the price in the international market.

Similarly, the price of silver has increased by Rs 15 per tola to Rs 1,525. Silver was traded at Rs 1,510 per tola on Wednesday.
