<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif"">Hospital for Advanced Medicine and Surgery (HAMS) bagged the award for the Best Hospital of the Year.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif"">The awards in these two categories were added from this year.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif"">Similarly, Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited was announced as the Best Managed Commercial Bank of the Year.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif"">Likewise, the award for the Best Managed Commercial Bank in Servicing Marginalised Geographical Areas-such as Karnali, Sudur Paschim and Madhesh went to Krishi Bikas Bank. NMB Bank Limited was declared as the Best Managed Commercial Bank in Prescribed Sector Lending</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif"">Towards the development bank segment, the award for the Best Managed Development Bank of the Year went to Shine Resunga Development Bank Limited.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif"">Likewise, the Best Managed Finance Company of the Year was bagged by Manjushree Finance Ltd.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif"">In the insurance category, Asian Life Insurance Company was declared the Best Life Insurance Company of the Year while Siddhartha Premier Insurance Ltd bagged the honous as the Best Non-Life Insurance Company of the Year'.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif"">The awards were distributed in 11 different categories, including 10 institutional categories and one lifetime achievement award.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif"">Earlier, Chief Guest of the event, Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Damodar Bhandari, MadanLamsal, chairman of New Business Age and G Gopalkrishnan, the country director of Asian Paints, the title sponsor of the event, jointly inaugurated the conclave and awards ceremony by lighting a lamp.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif"">According to the organizers, a panel of independent jury comprising experts from various fields selected the organizations and individuals for the award. The selection was done after a rigorous and phase-wise evaluation.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif"">The event also featured panel discussion which delved on the topic of 'Business Opportunities in Difficult Times'. The speakers during the panel discussion included Amlan Mukherjee, Managing Director of Unilever Nepal Limited, AnandBagaria, Managing Director of Nimbus Holding Pvt Ltd and Sewa Pathak, Chief Executive Officer of Vianet Communications. The panel discussion was facilitated by Ranjit Acharya, Chief Executive Officer of Prisma Advertising.</span></span></p>
