March 22: Nepal is capable of managing the problems faced by the country's economic sector, says Gopalakrishnan Gaurishankar, the Country Director of Asian Paints Nepal. He made such remarks while speaking at the Newbiz Business Conclave and Awards organized by New Business Age on Friday.
He was of the view that it is easy to solve the current problems.
Country Director Gaurishankar expressed his happiness at the opportunity to collaborate with New Business Age at the Conclave and Awards program. Asian Paints Nepal is also the title sponsor of the conclave and awards ceremony.
He said that Nepal is a country of distinct identity and potential. He said that there are some problems in Nepal's economy due to the complex problems like the earthquake, but he also expressed his belief that the country can overcome the problems. He said that people have money due to remittances and the statistics show that it is increasing.
“The trend of Nepali youth going abroad has increased, it is not sure whether they will return. The government understands this, it will definitely work on it," he said.
He expressed confidence that the problems seen in Nepal's economic sector will be solved. “Nepal's economic sector has a lot of potential as well as problems. All are ready for the development of the economic sector. However, there is a question of when and how," he said. “Let's hope for it, let's think positively.”
He said that business companies should also think about what the people of Nepal want. He also pointed out that attention should be paid to quality and results.
