March 11: Some parts of the country is likely to experience rain and snowfall today due to the partial impact of the westerly low pressure system in Nepal.    
According to the Weather Forecasting Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather will be generally cloudy in Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Lumbini and Gandaki provinces and partly cloudy in the hill region of Bagmati and Koshi provinces today.    
Light to moderate rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places of the hill region of the country including Sudurpashchim Province, Karnali Province, Lumbini Province and Gandaki Province in the afternoon, the division stated.

Likewise, light snowfall is likely to occur at a few places of the high hill and mountainous region of Karnali Province and Sudurpashchim Province and at a few places of the rest of the high hill regions.    
The weather will be partly to generally cloudy in the hill region and mainly fair in the rest of the country during the night. Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places of the high hills and mountainous regions of the country. -- RSS
