March 5: The price of gold has reached an all-time high of Rs 123,000 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market of Nepal on Tuesday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of hallmark gold has reached Rs 123,000 per tola on Tuesday with the rise in price by Rs 2,000 per tola. The precious yellow metal was traded at Rs 121,000 per tola on Monday.
According to Federation, worked gold is being traded at Rs 122,400 per tola on Tuesday against Rs 120,400 on Monday.
Earlier on December 28, 2023, the price of the precious yellow metal had set a record after reaching Rs 122,000 per tola.
The Federation determines the price of gold and silver based on the price in the international market.
Meanwhile, the price of silver has increased by Rs 35 per tola and reached Rs 1,445 per tola. -- RSS
