February 29: A report prepared by the Structural Reforms and Study Committee of Nepal Airlines Corporation has recommended the government to sell the shares of Soaltee Hotel owned by the state-owned airline company to make the NAC financially strong.
Among the four main recommendations made by the committee, it has also recommended making internal audit of NAC more effective. Other recommendations include forming accounts committee and to formulate a realistic action plan.
The committee submitted its report to Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan Kirati, Secretary Deepak Kafle and Executive Chairperson of Nepal Airlines Corporation, Yubraj Adhikari on Thursday.
