In a notice issued on Monday, MoHA joint-secretary and spokesperson, Narayan Prasad Bhattarai informed that the the government decided to revoke the holiday based on the Supreme Court's ruling. </span><br />
<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">Earlier, the government had announced a public holiday on Fagun 1 to commemorate the 'people's war day'. However, the decision was challenged in the Supreme Court, leading to the apex court's directive ordering the government to rescind it.
