January 31: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the price of petroleum products. The new market price of petrol, diesel and cooking gas (LPG) will come into effect from 1:00 am Thursday.
Accordingly, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 4 per litre, that of diesel and kerosene by Rs 2 per litre and LPG by Rs 15 per cylinder. The price has been revised as per the new rate received from the Indian Oil Corporation on Wednesday, NOC said in a statement.
As per the revised list, petrol will now cost Rs 170 per litre and diesel-kerosene each Rs 158 per litre in Kathmandu, while LPG will cost 1,910 per cylinder. -- RSS
