<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">As an alternative to the current parking facility, the KMC has said that it will provide free parking facilities at the Kathmandu Tower. </span><br />
<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">Chief of KMC Municipal Police Rajunath Pandey shared that 300 four-wheelers and 700 two-wheelers can be parked at the Kathmandu Tower at a time. The new provision is expected to ease traffic congestion in the major market hub of the capital. </span><br />
<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">Pandey said that parking will be prohibited on blacktopped roads in and around Dharmapath, Indrachowk, Khichapokhari, Mahabouddha, and around Bir Hospital. Earlier, a similar prohibition in vehicle parking was imposed by the KMC in Jhonche area. -- RSS </span></span></span></p>
