Training Program Held to Train Local Chinese Teachers at LRI School

January 21: The Centre for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, in collaboration with Beijing International Chinese College, hosted a one-day "2024 Program of Experts Training Local Chinese Language Teachers in Nepal" at LRI School in Kathmandu on January 18.

The event saw the participation of Wang Xin, the Political Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Nepal, Yub Raj Dahal, Officer of the District Education Coordination Unit in Kathmandu, and other guests at the Confucius Classroom of LRI School.

The training aimed to empower local Chinese language teachers in Nepal involved in international Chinese education. The program offered a valuable opportunity for these educators to enhance their professional skills and deepen their understanding of Chinese culture.

The ultimate goal was to contribute significantly to development of Chinese education in Nepal.
