January 16: Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat has said that the federal government will implement projects of more than Rs 30 million from the upcoming fiscal year.    
Addressing an event organized at Sherabagar of Shivapuri Rural Municipality in Nuwakot district on Monday, the finance minister said new rules have been formulated for the implementation of the projects by the federal and provincial governments. He added that the provincial governments will implement projects of Rs 10 million plus in budget.     
The size of budget for the projects was fixed to end the confusion on project implementation by the three layers of government.    
Minister Mahat also said that all three layers of governments were working proactively to meet the people's aspirations, concerns and challenges.    
Minister Mahat said that the government will prioritize coordination for project implementation. -- RSS
