January 5: The Ninth Nepal Wood International Expo, 2024 commenced in Bhrikutimandap on Friday. The three-day event is being jointly organised by Media Space Solutions Pvt Ltd and India's Futurex Trade Fair and Events Pvt Ltd.    
The organisers said this expo is Nepal's largest exhibition of wood and woodcraft machinery, furniture production technologies, tools and fittings, interior design, accessories, raw materials and products. It aims to inform visitors about the latest furniture products and new technologies used in furniture industry.    
Media Space Solutions managing director Sirjal Bhattarai said furniture companies from Nepal, India, China, Taiwan, and Malaysia are taking part in the fair. The expo will conclude on Sunday. -- RSS
