January 4: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has officially unveiled its annual sports calendar for 2024. Organising a press conference, CAN made public the calendar outlining a series of national and international tournaments that Nepal will be participating in throughout the year.
According to the schedule, Nepal is slated to take part in two ICC World Cup League II tournaments, T20 series, and various One Day Internationals (ODIs) in 2024.
Likewise, Nepal is set to compete in a three-match ODI series against Canada from February 10 to 14. Following this, a triangular T20 series featuring Nepal, Namibia, and the Netherlands is scheduled to be held in Nepal from February 27 to March 5.
Furthermore, Nepal 'A' will participate in five ODIs and three T20 matches against Ireland 'A' from March 19 to April 30. The CAN has announced the hosting of the Nepal Premier League Cricket Tournament in November-December.
According to CAN Secretary Paras Khadka, they will consider accommodating any country expressing its interest in playing against Nepal in the sports calendar. (RSS)
