Banking Offense Criminal brought to Nepal with INTERPOL Help   

December 26: Nepal Police has brought home a banking offense criminal, Rajindra Pasman, 44, from Qatar with the help of INTERPOL.    

Pasman, who hails from Aurahi rural municipality-5 of Dhanusha district, was issued a red corner notice by the INTERPOL for his involvement in banking fraud and organized crime.     Nepal Police Spokesperson DIG Kuber Kadayat informed the state-owned RSS that Nepal Police was able to bring Pasman from Qatar on Monday with the help of INTERPOL.    
Pasman and his group had illegally transferred Rs 900,000 from various accounts of Machhapuchhre Bank to his account. He also used ATM cards of different banks and took away the money.   

Investigation revealed that Pasman was in Qatar for employment. Upon the request of the Nepal Police, the INTERPOL general secretariat had issued a red corner notice against Pasman on December 7, 2023. -- RSS
