December 11: Buddha Air has started commercial flights with its seventeenth aircraft from Sunday. The aircraft made its first flight from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar with 59 passengers.

Buddha Air had brought the aircraft to Kathmandu on October 27. After bringing the plane, it was painted and all the necessary procedures were completed before Buddha Air started commercial flights from Sunday.

With the addition of the new aircraft with call sign 9N-AOC, Buddha Air now has a total of 14 ATR-72 aircraft in its fleet.

Buddha Air said it added the new aircraft in line with its commitment to make air travel easy and comfortable to its customers.

According to Rupesh Joshi, marketing director of Buddha Air, passengers will get easy access to flights as the company has increased the number of flights significantly.

Buddha Air has three ATR-42-320 aircraft and 14 ATR-72-500 aircraft.
