December 1: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has cut down the fuel prices effective from December 1.
According to a press statement issued on Thursday night, the NOC disclosed that the prices of diesel and kerosene would be reduced by Rs 4 per litre, while the price of petrol would see a decrease of Rs 2 per litre.
Despite incurring a loss of Rs 300 per cylinder, the NOC decided to keep the price of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LP Gas) unchanged.
Under the new pricing structure, petrol in the Kathmandu Valley, Pokhara, and Doti will cost Rs 170 per litre, while diesel and kerosene in these locations will be priced at Rs 160 per litre, as confirmed by the NOC.
