Government to Seek Suggestions from Private Sector

 

November 21: The government is set to collect input and suggestions from private sector aimed at revitalizing the country's economy.  The decision was made during a meeting at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar on Monday evening, where the current state of economy was thoroughly discussed.

The discussions with the private sector are scheduled to take place at the Prime Minister's Office in Singh Durbar on Tuesday.

Earlier, the Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' had held meetings with key ministries, including Finance, the National Planning Commission, and Nepal Rastra Bank, to gain insights into the present economic conditions and chart a course for the future.

"We are seeking suggestions from the private sector regarding the current challenges and problems, as well as insights into the future course of action," said Finance Minister Dr. Mahat.

During meeting at the PMO, the Finance Minister provided the Prime Minister with a comprehensive overview of the country's economic landscape, while the Governor of Rastra Bank and a representative from the National Planning Commission also shared their perspectives. (RSS)
