<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif""><span style="font-size:13.0pt">Of them, the number of taxpayers obtaining B-PAN was 1.876 million while P-PAN was 3.649 million. </span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif""><span style="font-size:13.0pt">Of the total Rs 957 billion revenue collected in the fiscal year 2022/23, Rs 479 billion revenue was collected by the department alone. The amount is equal to 50.12 percent of the total annual revenue collection of the government. </span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif""><span style="font-size:13.0pt">The government had given a target to the department to collect Rs 626 billion in revenue in the last fiscal year, out of which the department collected Rs 479 billion, according to the department.
