Thai Airways International Resumes Kathmandu-Bangkok Flights

October 29: The Thai Airways International, the national flag carrier of Thailand, has resumed its Kathmandu-Bangkok flights from October 29. The airlines had suspended its Kathmandu-Bangkok flights since March 25, 2020 after the COVID-19 pandemic.

General Manager of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Pratap Babu Tiwari confirmed that the Thai Airways International restarted its flight. Likewise, the flights of Thai Smile stopped its flight to Kathmandu from October 29 itself.

The Thai Airways International had begun its service in Nepal in December 1968. The TIA Office has said that Nepal's international flights reached the pre-COVID-19 status. (RSS)
