Manang Air's Pilot Dies during Treatment   

October 26: Prakash Kumar Sedhain, the pilot who was injured in Manang Air’s helicopter crash on October 14, died on Wednesday in course of treatment. He was being treated at the National Burn Centre in Mumbai, India.    
Manang Air's manager Raju Neupane said Sedhain died on October 25 in course of treatment at the National Burn Centre, Mumbai. He was taken to Mumbai for advanced treatment as he could not be treated in Kathmandu.    
According to the centre, Sedhain sustained 45 to 50 percent burn injuries to his body, including his face and limbs. The Manang Air chopper with the call sign 9N-ANJ had crashed at Lobuche of Solukhumbu during a rescue operation. There was no one except the pilot on board the ill-fated helicopter. -- RSS
