October 20: The Westerly wind is having partial influence in Nepal at present and the weather is partly cloudy in the hill regions and generally fair in the rest of the country, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said.    
Meteorologist Shanti Kandel said the weather will be partly to generally cloudy in the hill region and generally fair in the rest of the country in the afternoon today. She added that although there are chances of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in one or two places of the hill regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, the weather will be fair in the rest of the places.    
The maximum temperature in Kathmandu will likely remain between 24 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius today. -- RSS
