The amount is to support KU’s Turbine Testing Lab for the purpose of education, research and development which will also aid the development of indigenous industries. KU has also entered into a technical cooperation with Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU)/ Waterpower Land. It will be the first and only turbine testing laboratory in Asia. </div>

KU has also entered into a technical cooperation with Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU)/ Waterpower Land. It will be the first and only turbine testing laboratory in Asia. </div>

Standard Chartered Bank Nepal has introduced the Village School-College Students Scholarship Project–Nepal to reach rural schools to support deserving students of Shree Mahendra Shanti High School, Balkot, Bhaktapur. Standard Chartered awarded the scholarships to meritorious students for the academic year B.S. 2069, on Tuesday. CEO of the bank Joseph Silvanus gave away the scholarships at a function organised at the school. The bank has been providing scholarships to 15 deserving students of the school since 2002.</div>
