September 29: A total of 610 medals have been distributed to the players in the ongoing Asia Games as of Thursday. Runaway leader China tops the medals tally with 169 medals including 91 gold, 52 silver and 26 bronze medals.
South Korea is a distant second with 86 medals including 24 gold, 23 silver and 39 bronze medals followed by Japan with 18 gold medals, 30 silver and 31 bronze medals.
Nepal, on the other hand, has performed poorly in the sports extravaganza and remains without any medal on the sixth day of the event. Nevertheless, Nepal is expected to win medals in e-sports, badminton and men's cricket tournament in which the national team smashed several world records in its comprehensive win against Mongolia on Wednesday.
Uzbekistan is in the fourth position with 6 gold medals, 10 silver and 15 bronze.
Likewise, India has so far secured 6 gold medals, eight silver and 11 bronze, to stay in the fifth position in the 19th Asian Games underway in Hangzhou City of China.
Likewise, Thailand has got six gold medals, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China has five gold medals and Chinese Taipei has won four gold medals.
Of the 45 participating countries, 33 countries have managed to bag the medals in the Asian Games which kicked off on Sunday.
