<p><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif""><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">The online edition of The Economic Times published the news stating that the central government of India has started the process of establishing 19 of such customs offices on the Nepal-India border, 10 of which will be established in Bihar.</span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif""><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Custom offices are going to be established at Jayanagar, Bairagania, Galgalia, Bhimnagar, Kunauli, Balmikinagar and other places of Bihar state. The Indian side claims that the establishment of the customs offices will be effective in strengthening trade and friendly relations with neighboring countries.</span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif""><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">The Indian Home Minister also mentioned that India has adopted the principle of coordination and cooperation for strengthening trade with Nepal. He addressed the inauguration ceremony of a customs residential building in Araria district of Bihar this week. During the inauguration, he said that the establishment of the customs office will control problems such as misuse of open border and unauthorized trade. He also claimed that India is working on promoting bilateral trade, expanding border infrastructure and transportation, and developing people-to-people relations.</span></span></span></p>
