September 13: Currently, the axis of monsoon trough is positioned further south than its usual location and the country is experiencing a partial influence of a low pressure system based in Uttar Pradesh of India and its adjacent areas.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather across the country is expected to be partly to generally cloudy today with the chances of light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning at a few places of the hill regions of the country and at one or two places in the rest of the country.

The division stated that the weather will be partly to generally cloudy throughout the country tonight while light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is expected to take place at a few places of Koshi, Madesh , Bagmati , Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and at one or two places of rest of the provinces.-- RSS
