September 6: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has approved final membership licenses for 11 new broker companies.  This decision was made during the NEPSE Board of Directors meeting held on Tuesday.

The companies that have received licenses include Garima Securities Limited, Pahi Investment Pvt. Ltd, Indira Securities Pvt. Ltd, NMB Securities Ltd and Akash Bhairav Securities Ltd.

Similarly, Sanima Securities Ltd, Milky Way Share Broker Company Ltd, Stochastic Securities Ltd, S.P.S.A Securities Ltd, and Bluechip Securities Ltd also received the final membership licenses.

The licenses were granted after the NEPSE officials assessed that these companies met the necessary infrastructural requirements. With this, the total number of companies receiving the final licenses from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has reached 37.

Initially, out of the 46 applicant companies, 43 had received preliminary licenses or letters of intent (LOI) from SEBON in three different phases.
