August 20:   Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank, recently honored with the L&D Excellence Award (Gold), has announced photography competition named "BizzChitra." This competition aims to spotlight and boost local small and medium-sized enterprises.

 Basant Bakshi, the Corporate Communication Head of Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank, shared that BizzChitra seeks to convey the message of financial empowerment across the nation by highlighting the positive aspects of locally operated businesses.

Individuals interested in participating in the BizzChitra competition can submit photographs that showcase and promote small and medium businesses along with a brief photo story via the official email.

The competition is scheduled to run from August 19 to September 2. Prizes for the competition include Rs. 20,000/- for the first place, Rs. 15,000/- for the second place, Rs. 10,000/- for the third place, and a public choice award of Rs. 5,000/-.

A panel of three judges has been appointed to evaluate the competition. The panel consists of Basant Bakshi, Corporate Communication Head of Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank; Ullas Makrati, Creative Director of Vertical 360 Ads; and Sunil Sharma, Photojournalist from Arthik Abhiyan National Daily and New Business Age.

Basant Bakshi emphasized, "Promoting local businesses will catalyze a transformation in the nation's economic landscape. Such competitions should continue to be held in the future."

Bakshi further added, "With its extensive network of branches spanning remote areas to urban centers, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank considers it its responsibility to promote local businesses through initiatives like BizzChitra."
