<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">Speaking at a press meet organised at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to make public the decisions of the Council of Ministers on Thursday, Communications Minister Rekha Sharma clarified that a high-level probe committee was not necessary as the Department of Revenue Investigation has started investigating into the scam. </span><br />
<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">Responding to queries of media persons, she mentioned that there was no need of high-level probe committee as the Department of Revenue Investigation under the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has been carrying out investigations into the smuggling of around 100 kg gold from Tribhuvan International Airport. </span><br />
