August 3: The National Youth Science Conference is set to take place on September 16 this year in Kathmandu.
Organized by the Nepal Astronomical Society (NASO), the event is designed for individuals within the 13-25 age who aspire to contribute to the field of science within their home country. NASO has opened applications for interested participants.
In preparation for the conference, a remote workshop focusing on the intricacies of crafting and presenting concept papers will be conducted.
Society President Suresh Bhattarai highlighted that this workshop will serve as a prerequisite for conference participation. The overarching theme for the conference is 'learning for the future'.
During the conference, participants will have the opportunity to showcase their scientific concepts and plans. The event aims to facilitate international engagement for the participants in the days ahead.
Interested individuals may submit their applications for the conference until August 25.
