July 30: The Narayangadh-Muglin road section in Chitwan district has once again been blocked by a landslide, causing significant disruptions to vehicular traffic. The incident took place at around 9:00 am on Sunday near Kalikhola of Ichchhakamana rural municipality-6.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bijay Raj Pandit, who serves as the Spokesperson for the District Police Office, Chitwan, the landslide made the highway impassable for vehicles.
Despite ongoing efforts to clear the road and restore traffic flow, subsequent landslips have made it hard to ensure safe passage for commuters. The Narayangadh-Muglin road has experienced frequent disruptions due to landslides in the past.
