July 26: Sanima Bank has signed a partnership agreement with Swisscontact Nepal for the Phase II of Agriculture Market Development Program Phase with the goal of strengthening the capacity of the bank to finance agro-based SMEs in Koshi Province.
The partnership aims to cater to the financial needs of agro-processing enterprises in Koshi Province, reads a press statement issued by the bank. The agreement will help carry out orientation and spread awareness in an innovative and effective way, added the statement.
According to Sanima Bank, this partnership will optimize the digitization of the agro-loan processing, carry out promotional activities of agro-loan products, organize various client orientation and business literacy programs and build the capacity of the bank’s staff to cater to the agro-enterprises’ needs in an efficient way.
Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Sanima Bank, Tej Bahadur Chand, mentioned that the partnership would enable Sanima Bank to further strengthen its initiatives in better serving agriculture enterprises through innovative financial products and services.
Sanima Bank is currently providing services from 132 offices and 122 ATM networks across all 7 provinces.
