Dusit Thani Himalayan Resort Starts Operation 

July 25: Dusit Thani Himalayan Resort Dhulikhel, Nepal, the first luxury resort in Namo Buddha, Dhulikel, has started operation.

Managed by Dusit International, one of Thailand’s leading hotel and property development companies, the resort combines Dusit’s unique brand of Thai-inspired gracious hospitality with local culture and traditions. 

“Dusit Thani literally means ‘Town in Heaven’. Our resort is just over an hour's drive from Tribhuvan International Airport and 25km from Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site,” shares Alina Shakya, marketing staff of the resort.

The resort greets guests with a personal butler – a first-of-its-kind experience in Nepal – ensuring impeccable service and a truly unique experience throughout their stay. The second phase of the resort, slated to open at the end of the year, will feature an additional 44 rooms, bringing the total number of rooms to 72.
