July 21: The Securities Board of Nepal(SEBON) has decided to grant broker licenses to 11 more companies.

The meeting of the Board of Directors held on July 20 took the decision to grant broker licenses to additional 11 companies.

According to the spokesperson of the Board, Mukti Shrestha, Milky Way Share Broker Company, Capital Hub Pvt. Ltd., Ashabhairav Securities, and Paahi Investment Pvt. Ltd have been granted broker licenses.

Other companies granted broker licenses include S.P.S.A. Securities, N.M.B. Securities, Sanima Securities, Stocksarts Securities, Indira Securities, Blue Chip Securities, and Garima Securities.

Earlier, the SEBON had issued broker licenses to 18 companies out of 46 companies which were provided with the letters of intent for the licenses.

Among them, seven broker companies have already started their operations in the stock market, while the remaining ten companies are still in the process of obtaining membership of Nepal Stock Exchange to begin the trading of the equities on the NEPSE.
