July 17: President Ramchandra Paudel has officially certified three bills related to the budget.

The bills, namely the Appropriation Bill, 2080; the Finance Bill, 2080; and the Bill to Raise National Debt, 2080, were given assent by the President.

This action comes after the bills were passed by the Federal Parliament and presented to the President for approval.

Shailaja Regmi Bhattarai, the spokesperson for the Office of the President, confirmed that the President certified three bills in accordance with Article 113 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal.
