Earthquake jolts Sindhupalchok   

July 10: An earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale with its epicentre at Bahrabise of Sindhupalchok district was recorded at 12.47pm on Monday, according to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, Lainchaur.    
Prior to this, an earthquake with magnitude 4 on the Richter scale with its epicentre near Bhalayakharka of Lamjung was recorded on June 23.    
Earthquake tremors epicentred in places of the mountainous and hill regions of eastern and western parts of the country have become recurrent of late. The mountainous and hill region of Nepal is considered vulnerable to earthquakes. -- RSS
