July 7: Standard Chartered Newbiz Business Women Summit and Awards 2023 is happening today in Kathmandu. New Business Age Pvt Ltd is hosting the event under the title sponsorship of Standard Chartered Bank Nepal to encourage successful businessmen and women entrepreneurs in the enterprise and commercial sector.

The award and summit will have two sessions. Panel discussion is scheduled to take place in the first session of the program, while awards distribution will take place in the second session.

The award ceremony will honor 13 women in 7 categories. The women entrepreneurs will be honoured under Lifetime Achievement Award, Social Entrepreneur of the Year, Woman in Tech of the Year, Professional Woman of the Year, Business Woman of the Year, Woman Entrepreneur of the Year. Likewise, best women entrepreneurs from all seven provinces will be awarded with cash prizes under the title of Enterprising Woman Entrepreneur of the Year.

A panel of independent jury selected rightful winners among the 2000 women entrepreneurs from seven provinces from various stages of evaluation.

The event will see a panel discussion on title 'Women Entrepreneurship in the Digital Age' before the award distribution.

Radhika Aryal, joint secretary of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply, Seema Golchha, director of Golchha Group and Rumee Singh, co-founder of Rumsan Nepal, are the speakers for the panel discussion.

Michael Siddhi, Country Head of Transaction Banking for Standard Chartered Bank Nepal, will facilitate the panel discussion.

Standard Chartered Bank Nepal is the title sponsor of the event.
