Four Wooden Artifacts to Be Brought Back to Nepal from Australia

June 26: Four wooden artworks dating back to the early 20th century will be brought back to Nepal from Australia.

The National Gallery of Australia, located in Canberra, has handed over these valuable artifacts to the Nepali Embassy, which will oversee their safe return.

The responsibility of transporting the artworks back to Nepal has been assigned to Shangrila International Freight Private Limited.

Weighing a total of 26 kilos, these historic objects are of immense cultural importance to Nepal. Saugat Singh, the executive director of Shangrila International Freight, confirmed the weight of the artifacts. Upon their arrival, the artworks will be handed over to the Department of Archaeology, Nepal. (RSS)
