June 21: High Court Patan has issued an interim order in the name of Kathmandu Metropolitan City not to stop HISSAN Education fair. 

Spokesperson and Deputy-Registrar of the High Court Patan, Mandira Shahi said that a division bench of judges Tek Prasad Dhungana and Ramesh Dhakal on Wednesday issued such an order. 

The Kathmandu Metropolitan City had abruptly closed the Edufair, which was taking place at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu since June 15, citing various reasons.

However, the Higher Secondary Schools' Association Nepal (HISSAN) had filed a writ petition at the High Court Patan to challenge the decision of the KMC to halt the fair. (RSS)
