Hulas Steel to Provide Training to 1348 Individuals 


June 19: Hulas Steel will impart Hipco Superbuild Steel Fabrication Training to 1348 individuals. Hulas Steel- Hipco Superbuild Steel Fabrication Training and Employment Program, is a collaborative initiative between the Government of Nepal and the United Kingdom.

 This programme has already uplifted the livelihoods of 45,000 Nepalis, marking a significant stride forward. Jointly operated by Hulas Steel Industry Limited and Hipco Superbuild, under the coordination of Divakar Golchha Corporation, this program receives essential support from the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) and the Make in Nepal (Swadeshi) Campaign.

The collaborative programme will train to 1,348 individuals and connect them with employment opportunities that align with labor market demands, bridging the skill gap effectively. The comprehensive training program runs for seven days and takes place at the Hulas Superbuild Factory, situated in Belwa Parsauni, Ward No. 31 of Birgunj Metropolitan City.

 This program takes a targeted approach, focusing on steel and iron workers, women seeking empowerment, individuals with extremely low incomes, and marginalized groups. Those with Nepali citizenship, including those residing temporarily or permanently in Madhesh and Lumbini provinces are eligible to participate in the training.  

Commencing on June 16, 2023, the training program will run for an extensive five-month period. Interested individuals are called to submit their applications for the training. In addition to equipping individuals with vital skills, this program serves as a reliable talent pipeline for factories and industries engaged in construction and the production of construction materials.
