Government Employees Banned from Making TikTok Video during Office Hours

June 23: Civil servants making TikTok videos during office time will face action. The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration issued a notice on Monday warning of action if any civil servant is found making TikTok videos during office hours.

Making TikTok videos in prescribed dress code, using office vehicles and within the premises of the respective office has been banned, said joint secretary and spokesperson for the ministry Kamal Prasad Bhattarai.
"We have also directed government employees not to make TikTok video even about activities related to office work. Or else, disobedient employees will face punishment for not maintaining discipline and violating such rule," he said.

The initiative follows complaints about government employees doing 'indecent activities' in TikTok lately, according to the ministry. -- RSS
