June 13: Nepali tyre manufacturer Green Tyre has started producing the 'Delta' brand of tyres for TVS NTORQ scooters. The company claims that the 100-80-12 Dyaas and 110-80-12 Dyaas sizes of these tyres are of high quality and cost-effective.

The design of these tires has been specifically engineered to suit the rough conditions of Nepali roads, offering dry and wet grip as well as easy maneuverability on off-road terrain.

The company also mentions that these tyres reduce fuel consumption due to their low rolling resistance. Bikas Singhania, the company's manager, stated that the increasing number of TVS NTORQ scooter users in the Nepali market has led the company to focus on tyre production for these scooters.

Currently, the company produces 2,50,000 units of tyres annually. It employs 120 workers.
