June 6: The Nepal-Italy Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NICCI) published its newsletter amid a program held at Aloft Hotel, Kathmandu on Monday
NICCI President, Sanjay Agrawal, and Italian Ambassador to Nepal, Vincenzo de Luca, jointly unveiled the first volume of the newsletter of NICCI on the occasion of the 9th NICCI day.
Nepal Italy Chamber of Commerce and Industry said the organization is dedicated to fostering commercial relations between Nepal and Italy. The Bilateral Business Meet held on the occasion of the NICCI Day 2023 signifies NICCI's commitment to fostering tourism, export-import, business and commercial relations between Nepal and Italy, Agrawal shared.
Italian Ambassador to Nepal, Vincenzo De Luca underscored the need for reinforcing strong ties between Italy and Nepal for lasting partnership.
Agrawal while addressing the event shared that NICCI Day 2023 also provided an opportunity to reflect upon the remarkable journey undertaken since the establishment of the chamber.
“It was a moment of celebration and introspection, as participants acknowledged the achievements and looked ahead to the future. The event emphasized the importance of reinforcing the commitment to bilateral trade, promoting innovation, and fostering strong partnerships that will drive sustainable growth and prosperity,” he added.
Ambassador Luca, expressed his commitment to fostering economic and diplomatic ties between Nepal and Italy through NICCI.
Likewise, Rajesh Kaji Shrestha, honorary patron of NICCI requested the ambassador to help improve the connectivity between the two nations.
Luca was joined by an Italian delegation led by Romeo Orlandi, the special ambassador of Rome, Dr Gianluca Rubagotti, the consulate general of Italy in Kolkata. Likewise, Agarwal was joined by Pratima Rana Pande, honorary consul of Italy in Nepal.
