May 30: Khaptad, a place renowned for its religious and touristic significance located in Sudurpaschim Province, is hosting spiritual conference from June 6 to 8. 

Sudurpaschim government and the Khaptad Tourism Development Committee are jointly organizing the-first-of-its kind event in Khapad. Known as the "Bhu Swarga" or Heaven on Earth, Khaptad captivates visitors with its unspoiled beauty. 

This remarkable conference seeks to highlight the religious and spiritual tourism potential of the region while fostering the development of the entire province, said  Bhim Bahadur Khadka, the executive director of the Khaptad Area Tourism and Management Committee.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' will inaugurate the Conference on June 6. In addition, renowned yoga instructors from India, Baba Ramadev and Balkrishna Acharya, will conduct sessions with their  enlightening sessions during the conference.

A 401-meber Conference Main Preparation Committee has been formed under the leadership of Sudurpaschim Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah for organizing the event.  Similarly, other 12 sub-committees have been constituted to assist the main committee. 

Situated at an altitude of approximately 3,200 meters above sea level, Khaptad is nestled between four districts: Bajhang, Bajura, Achham, and Doti in the province.

This idyllic location provides the perfect backdrop for spiritual exploration, offering a serene and awe-inspiring setting that will rejuvenate mind, body, and soul.
