May 18: The Westerly wind coupled with the local wind has had a general impact in the country’s weather at present, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said. The weather is partly to generally cloudy in Koshi Province and partly cloudy to generally clear in the rest of the provinces due to this.    
Kathmandu's weather is cloudy and it received light rainfall in the morning. It will be partly to generally cloudy in the hill region of the country towards the afternoon.    
There are chances of brief or light rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in some places of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province and in a few places of the hill region of the rest of the provinces, the division stated in its weather bulletin. -- RSS
