May 17: Preparations for the New Business Age Startup Summit and Awards programme, which is scheduled to be held on Friday (May 19), under the initiative of New Business Age, have been completed. The training program for startups under this awards ceremony has already been completed.

The organisers of the awards ceremony had requested for applications from startups from all seven provinces. More than 2,000 startup entrepreneurs from across the country had submitted applications for the awards programme. The theme of this year's awards is 'Towards Startup Nation'.

This year, the awards are being given to eight start-up companies. The awards programme is supported by sastodeal.com, Laxmi Bank, Shikhar Insurance, Rigo, Nexon EV, Max and City Express. Similarly, Nepal Rastra Bank, the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nepal Insurance Authority, Citizens Life Insurance, National Life Insurance, Nepali Patro and Dishome Fiber Net have also supported the awards function.

New Business Age has been organising various award programs. The company has been selecting and awarding the best management colleges and companies since 2013. Since 2019, the company has started honoring women entrepreneurs. New Business Age had organized the New Biz Business Conclave and Awards programme last winter.
