May 7: The budget session of the Federal Parliament is beginning today (May 7).    
President Ram Chandra Paudel has summoned the budget session of parliament for 4 pm this afternoon according to Article 93 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal.    
The government's policy and programmes and annual budget for the upcoming fiscal year would be tabled in this session of the House of Representatives (HoR).    
In today's HoR meeting, Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat is scheduled to table a proposal on Principle and Priorities of Appropriation Bill for discussions. -- RSS
